Description of pages and possible actions

Catalogue
 
A catalogue of user is a base of tires with parameters (basic and additional) which is used for implementation of calculation of the optimum packing of tires of different sizes and weight in a transport vehicle.
Basic parameters of position of catalogue:
  • name– the unique name of tire (does not influence on the results of calculation, but used exceptionally for informative aims);
  • diameter, mm – an external diameter of tire in myllymetrs;
  • inner diameter, mm – an internal diameter of tire in myllymetrs;
  • tire width, mm – width of tire in myllymetrs;
  • weight, kg –weight of tire in kilograms.
Additional parameters of position of catalogue:
  • solid +/empty – type of tire;
  • stock quantity – presence on storage of supplier in pieces;
  • sales velocity – speed of sales of tire in day.
During  the  work with service, it is possible to use catalogues, created by other users (another public catalogue), and also to create own (private  catalogue, public catalogue). A catalogue with public status is  browsable to all users.  A user during the work with another public catalogue can:
  • edit the basic and additional parameters of position (except for the name and presence on storage). The changed parameters of  public catalogue will be stored and represented exceptionally to the user which made alteration. Basic data of  public catalogue can be recovered if necessary; 
  • download positions of catalogue in a format .csv;
  • add the alternative name of position;
  • search in a catalogue on all parameters of position.
A user during work with own catalogues (private catalogue, public catalogue) can:
  • edit the name and status of catalogue (public or private);
  • delete a catalogue;
  • add/renew positions by downloading of files in a .csv format  (template «All parameters of position»,and «Basic parameters of position»);
  • renew additional parameters (tailings on storage and speed of sales) by downloading of files  in a .csv format  ( template  «Additional parameters»);
  • download positions of catalogue in a.csv format;
  • add/edit/delete positions;
  • add the alternative name of position;
  • search in a catalogue on all parameters of position.
 
Containers
 
During work with service for implementation of calculation of the optimized packing of tires of different sizes, weight in a transport vehicle it is possible to use the base of these standard transport vehicles or create own if necessary. At addition of container it is necessary to specify the parameters of transport vehicle, obligatory for implementation of calculation: 
  • name – the name of transport vehicle (does not influence on the results of calculation, but used exceptionally for informative aims);
  • width, cm – width of transport vehicle in centimeters;
  • height, cm – height of transport vehicle in centimeters; 
  • length, cm – length of transport vehicle in centimeters;
  • load-lift capacity, kg – carrying capacity (tonnage) of transport vehicle in kilograms, determines maximally possible total mass of tires which can be packed. 
 
New Task
 
For forming of new task of the optimum packing of tires is needed:
  • to enter the name of task;
  • to choose a container. In the absence of necessary container, it is possible to add it, specifying necessary  parameters for implementation of calculation (name, width (cm), height (cm), length (cm), carrying capacity (kg));
  • to choose a catalogue information of which will be used for a calculation;
  • to add positions for a calculation. Addition of positions can be carried out of two methods: 1) choice from a catalogue with pointing of amount and priority of load; 2) downloading of file from information in a format .csv (name of position (alternative name of position), which corresponds the chosen catalogue, amount and priority). Positions added for a calculation with the amount of «0»  will be packed only in the case of presence of  a free space in a container. The  higher number of priority is, the more important is position for packing;
  • to specify the amount of containers for a load;
  • to specify the maximal amount of solid tires in a pile (for the limit of pressure on a solid  tire);
  • to choose/cancel an option  “Ignore tailings on storage”. At its disconnecting in the algorithm of calculation of the optimized packing of tires the additional parameter of position of catalogue is used-  the presence on storage of supplier.
After implementation of calculation the placement chart of tire in a container with additional information about possibility of  adding weight to transport vehicle in a format .xlsx will be sent on the electronic address of user. Also a chart can be download on a page “History of tasks”, where the tasks of user are represented.
 
 
Tasks History
 
Work history of user in the system of on-line service of the optimum packing of tires of TiresBox  is needed for the rapid viewing of all executed tasks of user.
Complete information  about a task contains: name of task, date of calculation, directory used for a calculation name, name and parameters of container, additional options of calculation (an amount of solid tires in a pile, account of tailings on storage of supplier), status of treatment of task (Expectant, In process, Error, Done).
A user during the work with tasks can:
  • download the input file of calculation with information (name of position, amount and priority) in a format .csv;
  • watch status of processing of task;
  • download the placement chart of tire in a container in a format .xlsx after implementation of calculation of task;
  • count the task of to five times during 24 hours after the first successful calculation (at a re-calculation the results of previous calculations do not retire).
 
Task prosessing
 
For  the optimum packing processing it is necessary to perform the following actions.
 
1) Form basic data for the job processing:
  • create/choose from a base catalogue of positions with parameters which need to be packed in a container;
  • create/choose from a base container in which positions will be packed.
2) Form the task of the optimum packing of tires:
  • to choose a catalogue information of which will be used for a calculation;
  • to specify the amount of positions for packing;
  • to choose a necessary container;
  • to specify the additional parameters of calculation.
3) Analysis of results of calculation, if necessary re-calculation with changing parameters.
 
 
Result
 
The placement chart of tire in a container in a format .xlsx contains the following information:
  • as a table with information about the sequence of construction of piles of tires for a load, and their maintenance;
  • schematic image of construction of every pile of tire;
  • additional information about possibility of  adding weight to transport vehicle.
